My Story
I'm Lucy, a spiritual scientist and energy healer!
The complexities of human biology have always been my passion, leading me to earn a PhD in Molecular Biology and build a career in pharmaceutical research. For years, I explored health through a microscope, witnessing exactly how illness manifests within our cells. However, I eventually recognised that biology is only one chapter of our story. My scientific training provided a rigorous understanding of the physical body, but my personal journey revealed that true recovery requires us to look further. I discovered that we are a delicate tapestry of physical systems, mental patterns, and spiritual energy. Now, I use my background as a scientist to bridge the gap between measurable data and the profound, invisible layers of the human experience.
I believe that total wellness is a harmony between your physical, mental, and spiritual health. While science excels at treating symptoms, I focus on the whole person to find the root cause of imbalance. Often, what appears as a physical ailment is actually the body’s way of signaling deeper mental stress or spiritual disconnection. In my practice, I blend the analytical precision of a scientist with the intuition of a holistic healer to support all of you. We will work together to clear mental clutter, release emotional heavy lifting, and restore your spiritual vitality. By honoring the connection between your mind, your cells, and your soul, we create a space for genuine, lasting transformation and a more vibrant way of living.
Credentials
B.Sc. (Hons) Biochemistry
Ph.D. Molecular Biology
I completed a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry at the University of Exeter, where I developed a strong foundation in how the body works at a molecular level. I then went on to complete a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Warwick, deepening my understanding of the science behind health, disease and healing.
Diploma in Regression Therapy
I spent a year training for a Diploma in Regression Therapy, studying the human subconscious and the life cycles of the soul in depth. During this time, I completed extensive case studies and also experienced the power of regression therapy through my own healing journey, which gave me a profound respect for this work and its potential to create deep change.
Usui Reiki Master Teacher
As an Usui Reiki Master Teacher, my practice is grounded in years of daily self-Reiki and close work with the Reiki symbols. Living by the Reiki precepts and philosophy has brought powerful transformation to my own life, and I regularly attend Reiki shares to deepen my connection to this energy and to the wider Reiki community.
Foundation Holistic Hypnotherapy
Advanced Holistic Hypnotherapy
I first trained in Foundation Holistic Hypnotherapy, learning the core principles and scripted techniques for working with the subconscious mind to support change. I then went on to study Advanced Holistic Hypnotherapy, which took me much deeper into the connection between the subconscious mind, the body and energy, and how to safely transform and release what is held there.
Shamanic Practitioner
I trained as a Shamanic Practitioner, studying the history and core principles of shamanic healing. During my training I completed many shamanic journeys, learned a range of healing techniques, and carried out case studies alongside my own deep healing work. I now weave this shamanic understanding throughout my services, drawing on it where helpful to support clients on their healing path.
Diploma in Crystal Healing
I have worked with crystals for many years, studying their properties and learning to use them intuitively and with care. During my Diploma in Crystal Healing, I deepened this knowledge and learned how to select and place crystals to support specific intentions. I now incorporate crystal healing throughout my sessions, using them to help shift, balance and transform energy where needed.
Senior Scientist
As a Senior Scientist in drug discovery, I led projects and worked closely with customers, helping to translate complex biology into practical solutions. This role deepened my understanding of cellular pathways across many disease areas and how they can be targeted to support better health outcomes.
Postdoctoral Scientist
As a Postdoctoral Scientist in the drug discovery field, I explored bioinformatic techniques to analyse complex biological data and deepen my understanding of cellular processes and how they go wrong in disease.
PhD Molecular Microbiology
I completed my Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology at the University of Warwick, researching host–microbe interactions in the human gut.
BSc. Biochemistry
I attained a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Exeter, focusing on vital cellular mechanisms and identifying exactly how these essential processes malfunction during various disease states.
